This page (together with the documents referred to on it) tells you the terms of use on which you may make use of our website www.carlcomms.co.uk (the "Website"), whether as a guest or a Registered User (as defined below). Please read these terms of use carefully before you start to use the Website. By using the Website, you indicate that you accept these terms of use and that you agree to abide by them. If you do not agree to these terms of use, please do not use the Website.

  • Information about us
    • The Website is operated by C.A.R.L. Communications Limited ("we", "CARL Communications", "us" or "our"). We are a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number: 03406469 and our registered office is 84 Beal Lane, Shaw, Oldham, Lancashire OL2 8PH. Our VAT number is 693 5149 06.
  • Accessing the Website
    • You may access some areas of the Website without registering your details with us. However, certain areas of the Website are restricted to users who are our clients and have provided their personal details to us, accepted these terms of use, our terms of engagement and have been provided with a login password by us to access the areas of the Website that are restricted ("Registered Users").
    • Each registration is for a single user only. CARL Communications does not permit you to share your user name and password with any other user.
    • If you are provided with a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures whether as a Registered User or not, you must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party. Without prejudice to any other remedy we may have, we have the right to disable any user identification code or password at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.
    • Access to the Website is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw, suspend or amend the service we provide on the Website without notice. From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of the Website, or the entire Website, to Registered Users. We will not be liable if for any reason the Website is unavailable at any time or for any period.
    • You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to the Website. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access the Website through your internet connection are aware of these terms, and that they comply with them.
  • Use of the Website
    • You may use the Website only for lawful purposes. You may not use our Website:

  • Content Standards

  • Uploading material to the Website

You warrant that any such contribution is your own original work, complies with our content standards and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party, and you agree to fully indemnify and hold us harmless for any breach of this warranty.

    • Failure to comply with our terms of use constitutes a material breach and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions (without limitation to any other action or remedy we deem necessary):

We may give notice to you at either the email or postal address you provide to us when registering, or in any of the ways specified above. Notice will be deemed received and properly served immediately when posted on the Website, 24 hours after an email is sent, or three days after the date of posting of any letter (as appropriate). In proving the service of any notice, it will be sufficient to prove, in the case of a letter, that such letter was properly addressed, stamped and placed in the post and, in the case of an email, that such email was sent to the specified email address of the addressee.
